Good morning everyone,
As some of you may know April is Autism Awareness Month. I know this is short notice, but my sisters son Aric will be participating in a 5k walk on Saturday in the Walk Now Event taking place at The Rose Bowl. I myself was only just notified yesterday as this was all a last minute thing. At this moment we are asking for donations to this great cause and anything that you could give would be a great help.
If you would like to make a donation please make your check Payable to Cure Autism Now.
Team Information:
My sister created Team Hope to rally behind her and her 8 year old Autistic son Aric. He is currently attending special education classes in a public Elementary School and doing exeptionally well. Due to the care he's been given both by my loving sister, family, friends & the community he has advanced in leaps and bounds. He's gone from a boy completely unable to speak or make eye contact to a loving and affectionate boy capable of giving the hugs and kisses his family needs.
Aric is also training with the Special Olympics Swim Team. His favorite hobbies include videogaming, drawing on the computer, surfing the internet and reaing and yes, he can do it all by himself thank you very much.
Some website info in case any of you would like to participate!!!:
